“Suspiria” 4K Restoration Gets a New Trailer

Even with director Luca Guadagnino’s remake underway, Dario Argento’s original 1977 classic Suspiria will return to Italian theaters in January with a gorgeous 4K restoration. German lab TLEFilms handled the restoration of the damaged 35mm celluloid film, and while we certainly appreciate the character that a little dirt and noise can add to aged 35mm, this restoration looks absolutely stunning.

The cult classic scored by prog-rock band Goblin tells the story of an American ballet student who transfers to a German dance academy only to realize that there’s something more sinister and supernatural happening behind the scenes.

Check out the trailer below and get excited to see this classic Italian horror in all it’s glory.
