It’s been almost three months since we got our first look at Trey Edward Shults’ upcoming horror/thriller It Comes At Night. The film’s teaser trailer did a wonderful job piquing our interest while keeping us largely in the dark, and the full trailer, released today, isn’t much different.
Aside from talk of an unexplained sickness and some additional insight into the rituals keeping them safe, the finer plot points of It Comes At Night remain a mystery. And we’re just as happy not knowing. While the film will more than likely favor a dramatic and suspenseful tone over traditional horror, we’re still looking forward to seeing what exactly comes at night. A father will stop at nothing to protect his wife and son from a malevolent, mysterious presence terrorizing them right outside their doorstep.
It Comes At Night will be released on June 9, 2017.
